For the 2024-25 cyclocross season, the Really Rad Festival of Cyclocross will be amicably parting ways with the USCX Cyclocross Series.
“We were very happy to have joined the USCX during the ’22-23 cross season.” said Adam Sykes, race organizer of the RRFCX. “After the ’23-24 season, the series inquired about our ability to move our race date several weeks earlier so the series could be held on four consecutive weekends. Unfortunately, that was not possible due to conflicts in our event schedule and availability of the race venue. We hope that the USCX continues to grow and have success.”
Scott Page, Director of the USCX, is optimistic for the future. “I have been fortunate to have worked with Adam for many years and chose his event to be part of the USCX Series because of the wonderful job he does in producing the RRFCX. Although the schedule didn’t work out for 2024, I hope we will have the chance to collaborate in the future.”
The ’24-25 RRFCX will continue at the Cape Cod Fairgrounds in Falmouth, MA as a C1/C2 event weekend on October 26th and 27th, 2024. Racers and spectators can expect an outstanding weekend of racing, fun, and friendship that has become a hallmark of the RRFCX.
